TERMS / CONDITIONS

BUTTON MACHINE / BUTTON PARTS RETURNS

If for any reason you are not satisfied with the operation of any button machine, circle cutter, or button-making supplies we offer (not including special orders or design CD's) you can return it/them to us within 30 days and we will refund the purchase price, less shipping charges and any button-making supplies that were used. *

And unlike Badge-A-Minit, we won't charge you a restocking fee if you do!

Our guarantee is your assurance that you can purchase from us with total confidence!

CANCELLATIONS / Orders for Button Machines or Supplies

Our policy on cancelled orders for a button machine or supplies fall into one of three categories:

Orders cancelled prior to inputing and processing a credit card

Orders cancelled after inputing and processing the credit card, but prior to shipping the order

Orders cancelled after the credit card has been processed and after the product has been shipped.

  • If the order is placed and cancelled prior to inputing the order and processing a credit card, the order may be cancelled and no charge will apply.

  • If an order is placed and then cancelled after a credit card / PayPal payment has been processed, but prior to the order being shipped, the order may be cancelled. However, a charge equal to 3% of the total amount charged to the credit card / PayPal for the product and any shipping charges that would have applied will be subtracted from the amount refunded to the customer. A deduction for any packaging that may have taken place up until the order was cancelled may also be subtracted from any subsequent refund.

  • If an order is placed and then cancelled after a credit card has been processed and after the product shipped, the order may be returned to us AFTER obtaining an RMA#. However, a charge equal to 3% of the total amount charged to the credit card for the product and shipping charges will be subtracted from the amount refunded to the customer. Also any shipping / handling charges incurred by us in shipping the order will be subtracted from any subsequent refund.


BUTTON DESIGN CDs

There are no refunds on our Button Design CDs. Defective CDs will be replaced with the same CD.


POLITICAL CAMPAIGN ITEMS

Political campaign items may not be returned or exchanged. Only defective items may be returned and they will be replaced with same item number.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders for custom-printed items that have been approved by the customer or the customer's representative may be cancelled. However, a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the order, plus the cost of any work that has been done up to the point of cancellation will be deducted from the amount refunded.

OBTAINING AN RMA NUMBER

Before your return any item, we ask that you first obtain a return merchandise authorization number (RMA #) which you can do by calling our shipping department. The RMA # is how we track returns and make certain you receive credit once your item is received.

Items returned without an RMA# will not be accepted and will be returned at customer's expense.

Once you receive an RMA#, please package the item carefully. If you are returning button-making supplies, keep the button parts separate. Do not mix the shells and pin-back parts. Also, be sure the mylar discs are returned in a sealed package, as dust and dirt will contaminate them.

Dr. Don's Buttons retains the right to refuse credit on button-making supplies that have been mixed together or that have had the mylars contaminated with dust or dirt. We also retain the right to refuse credit on machines that have been damaged by the customer due to improper use or by not properly packaging their machine for return to us.

If you have any questions about how to return a machine or button-making supplies, please call us before shipping your package back to us.

All returned items must be received within 10 business days of the date the return authorization number is issued.

We highly recommend that you insure your package, as we are not responsible for returns lost or damaged in transit back to us.

Customer is responsible for shipping charges on all returned items. We suggest shipping returns via UPS or US Mail Insured.

Upon receipt of your returned merchandise, received in accordance with the above, and sent back to us within 30 days of the original delivery, we will issue a credit to your charge account. Refunds will be issued within 7 business days of receipt.

*Shipping costs, duties and brokerage fees are non-refundable.
This includes items sold with "Free shipping".

If you receive the wrong item or didn't receive an item you ordered

If you receive an item you didn't order (wrong item shipped) any claim to that effect MUST be made within 7 days of receiving the package.

If you receive a shipment from us and an item that should have been in the box, isn't, you MUST contact us and make a claim to that effect within 7 days and all packaging materials MJST be saved in case a claim against the carrier needs to be made.
