HOW TO USE PHOTO ENHANCEMENT
RINGS
Our photo enhancement
rings are incredibly easy to use, but there are a few things
you should know before using them.
First of all, be
sure and wash your hands before handling them. Otherwise you'll
leave fingerprints on their highly polished surface.
To use a photo
enhancement ring, simply assemble the button parts and your cut
photo in your button press as you normally would. The only difference
is that you now will place a single photo enhancement ring between
your artwork and the plastic disc prior to pressing the
button parts together.
Then operate your
button press as you normally would.
Before using a
photo enhancement ring on an important photograph, first try
doing a few tests using unimportant photos. That way, you'll
know exactly what to do before you start working with your important
photograph(s).
Here's a helpful
tip if you're using the Model
225 button machine.
Photo paper is
typically heavier than the paper used to make printed buttons
and therefor it is going to require a little extra arm stregnth
to operate the handle of the Model 225.
Don't worry...
the Model 225 can handle it!
And if you notice the photo enhancement ring "crinkling"
around the edge, try this little trick. Don't push the handle
of the machine all the way down on the 2nd push of the handle.
Instead, push the handle down only until you feel the button
parts making contact, and then push down just a little bit farther.
This should take care of any crinkling.
